	I enjoy working with groups, and have been leading workshops since 1988. My workshops are designed to provide a balanced mixture of intellectual stimulation with hands-on experience. 	Below are some of the workshops I have choreographed and am skilled in facilitating. I am happy to ìpick and mixî, if you are interested in combining two or more.

Awareness

	How often do you hear people discussing awareness, enlightenment, and subjects concerning why we are here, and the nature of reality? There are many different approaches to these subjects, depending on culture, religion, belief, age, and experience. This workshop touches all these questions and more, providing a complete and comprehensive description of awareness itself, according to the the shamans. Shamanism has been popularized by Carlos Castaneda in his series of books, and such authors as Ken Eagle Feather, Miguel Ruis, and Victor Sanchez.How often do you hear people discussing awareness, enlightenment, and subjects concerning why we are here, and the nature of reality? Ceremony and Ritual

	Ceremony is the art of creating sacred space using the power of the word and sacred theatre. In this workshop we explore the elements of ceremony, its uses, its creation, and performance. We will create our own ceremony and enact it. Bring appropriate costumes!

The Chakras

	This weekend we will explore the chakras from many different angles. We will study the theory of chakras, which qualities are associated with which and get to know them in an experiential way. We will work with purification, breath, meditation, a guided journey, color, and will complete with a healing ceremony.

Creating a Magical World

	It takes a lot of energy to transform one’s everyday world into a world of magic, meaning and power. Nevertheless, it can - and does - happen, if you have the map, the perseverance and the right attitude. Over this weekend we will discuss and explore this act of deep magic and transformation, make a strategy to initiate the process, invite the magical allies to help us, and activate it!

Dances with Dragons

	Have you wondered what dragons really are? How to contact them? Work with them? In this workshop we will answer these questions and introduce ourselves to the Dragon reality by entering their world. We will raise our energy, open the wings of our perception, awaken the dragon inside ourselves and dance with Dragons.

Dancing with the Shadow

	The Shadow is the sum of all the parts of ourselves that we deny. They are aspects of our personality that are too ugly, too disgusting, too painful or too fearful to accept as “ours”. Taboo. The Shadow is present whenever we feel any of these unacceptable feelings. Because we fear these potentials inside ourselves, we project them onto others, or “the world situation”, and experience them outside of ourselves. While projecting them, we are unable to heal ourselves, for how can we heal something that is “not ours”, something we are denying? With the support of the Spiritual Warrior and the group, we will create the right conditions to welcome some of the Shadow back home. Eventually we will merge with it, and find our wholeness. This is an advanced workshop for those of you well in contact with your hearts. As in all healing, the Shadow requires both acceptance and bags of love. NOTE: Working with the Shadow is a massive task, and this workshop, although very moving and triggering profound healing, is just the beginning of a life’s journey. A dream of mine is to be a member of an on-going group of Shadow Dancers...

Death, Dying and Rebirth

	This is a 4 day workshop designed to create the Shamanís Death for those in the middle of deep transition, and for those wanting to create a conscious relationship with Death. You will prepare for death by reviewing your whole lives, performing the Cutting the Ties to the Past ceremony, and by doing what needs to be done to complete this present incarnation. We will dig our own graves, and then create a funeral ceremony to our old, outmoded selves. Finally, we will all perform our funeral services, meet Death, die, be buried, and spend however long it takes in the Death Realms. Finally, when we are ready, we will be reborn into a new incarnation which will be of higher energy, and more in keeping with the dreams of our hearts.

The Energy Body

	In the shamanic realms, the primary rule is that existence is an infinite mass of intertwining energy fields. Physical existence is the tiniest tip of the iceberg in comparison. Our energy bodies are the vehicles through which we touch existence as a whole, and the relationship we have with our energy bodies will determine our experience of life. This workshop teaches the basic rules of interacting with the infinite - also described as “Great Spirit”, “God”, “the Goddess”, “the shamanic realms” and so on. We will be practicing various techniques including sacred dance, ceremony, tantric exercises, pranayama (breath) and gazing. During the weekend we will learn how to develop a conscious, everyday relationship with the energy body, and the sacred. NOTE: This workshop is potentially infinite, and could be the start of a series of workshops with the same title.

Firewalk

	Since the beginning of time people have walked over hot coals in order to face and overcome their fears, to perform “the impossible”, and to shift their energy bodies into a new level of mastery. In this workshop we will make a new relationship with, and take control of, the fearful places in our lives. We will create a new attitude to the challenges in life, and walk empowered (over the coals) into a new world.

Fire Labyrinth

	This is a very spectacular experience suitable for all ages and experience. It is a one-day event, although I can expand it to make it into a weekend workshop. The morning is spent discussing labyrinths and Earth Energies. In the afternoon we will mark out and prepare the fire labyrinth. In the evening (after dark), we will make ceremony to the Goddess, her relationship with the God, and the children of their union. We will walk through the flaming gateway into the turning and twisting pathway that will lead us to the Centre of All. NOTE: Please bring thick trousers to wear! Shoes are essential.

Healing through the Four Elements

	A very popular workshop which deepens our relationship with the four elements, the building blocks of life, and Spirit. During the weekend we will create an earth altar from natural objects we have found such as stones, wood, flowers and feathers. We will perform Agnihotra, a healing ceremony with fire, a Talking Stick sharing ceremony which employs the healing powers of air, and an All-Heal Druidic healing ceremony honoring water and unlocking the sacred feelings of the heart. Finally, we will experience how Spirit manifests when the mind is stilled in an extraordinary ceremony designed to transport all present through the many levels of reality.

A Healing Weekend

	One of my favorites. During this weekend we will all journey through a series of environments dedicated to healing. We will discuss healing and how we can generate it in our everyday lives. We will experience (and generate) healing through: a sharing circle, sound, heat and steam (sauna), massage and touch, reiki, prayer, dance, shamanic journey, and nature. NOTE: The techniques we use vary from workshop to workshop.

An Introduction to Druidry

	A Druid is a practitioner of the spiritual traditions of the Celtic lands. He reveres nature, in particular the trees and stones, as the embodiment of the union of the God and Goddess. In this workshop we learn about the life and practices of the contemporary Druid, sacred places on the earth, and discover how to connect magically with nature. NOTE: This could be a series of workshops, for those who want to delve deeper into Druidry.

An Introduction to Shamanism

	A shaman is a healer and a traveler through multidimensional space and time. He is an adventurer of the spirit, a hunter of energy, and leads a life of integrity and impeccability. In this workshop we will enter the shaman’s world and learn about its rules and properties. Just who is the spiritual warrior, and how do we get in contact with him/her? NOTE: This could be a series of workshops, for those who want to delve deeper into Shamanism.

An Introduction to Toltec Shamanism

	There are many types of shamanism just as there are many religions on earth. Toltec shamanism is the view of the world that Don Juan taught Carlos Castaneda, as described in his famous series of books. Toltec shamanism deals primarily with the science of awareness and the training of one’s perception. In this workshop we will explore the principles of consciousness and learn how to create our Path with Heart.

Manifesting our Dreams

	In this workshop we will invite our dreams to come and make themselves known. We will choose seven dreams we would like to manifest, over the short, medium, and long term. We will make an “action plan” to birth them, identifying our resources and needs. We will each find a magic wand in nature and prepare it for use (a magic wand is a traditional tool to direct and apply our magical will). We will then design a ceremony of commitment and manifestation to midwife our dreams into this reality.

Meditation

	Meditation trains and focuses the mind, essential skills to acquire on the spiritual path. In this workshop I talk about the history of meditation, its uses and practice. We will explore techniques for stilling the mind, Annapanna meditation, Vipassana meditation, Raja Yoga, shamanic journeys, Pranayama (breathing techniques), tantric exercises and training to perceive finer and finer levels of reality until the worlds of pure energy are experienced.

Opening the Third Eye

	This workshop is designed to awaken our intuitive side. We will develop our feeling nature by using trust exercises, practicing wide-angled vision and by stilling our internal dialogue. Using the breath we will make a journey into the realms of spirit and learn to see the aura; this is a workshop of miracles and wonders!

Purification

	One of the essential on-going practices of healing and spiritual growth is purification. Over this weekend we will explore the different ways of purifying ourselves, both in theory and in practice. We will physically experience a sacred Steamlodge ceremony, sacred dance, prayer, periods of silence, walking, meditation and a cleansing diet.

Sacred Dance

	This is a dynamic weekend of music and dance. We will learn the Cherokee Dance of Life, the Dragon Dance, The Seneca Wolf Dance, Shamanic Dance (based on Gabrielle Roth’s 5 Rhythms), and a possible Long Dance. Dance till you trance!

The Design, Construction and Use of Stone Circles

	We start the workshop with a slideshow demonstrating how to create a stone circle by hand using only those techniques available to the ancient circle builders. Then we enter the world of theory, where we learn about the whys, hows, wheres and with whats. We will then make a shamanic journey to the realm of stones, learning about their properties and finding “our” stone. We will explore the issues around designing a stone circle, and will design one for the weekend. We will construct the stone circle, each one of us becoming the stone we met in the realm of stones. We will create an inauguration ceremony to activate the stone circle, and “plug” it into the earth-energy grid of the land. Once up and running, we will perform a healing ritual for ourselves and the planet.

Steamlodge (Celtic Purification Ceremony)

	Since the beginning of time, in all cultures around the world, people have used the healing powers of hot rocks, steam and ceremony to purify themselves physically and spiritually. Participating in a Steamlodge is a profound experience of belonging, of returning as a child to the womb of the Earth Mother, and surrendering to the process of deep cleansing and renewal. It is particularly beneficial to undergo a series of Steamlodges at regular intervals, for instance every month, over a period of six months or a year. I perform various ceremonies suitable for the Steamlodge. My favorite is a simple healing ceremony of four rounds: Introduction and orientation; Prayers for others Prayers for ourselves Gratitude, asking for vision, completion. The Steamlodge process lasts a full day, from 10 in the morning until midnight. I like the group to spend time in preparation, building the lodge and making the fire. Depending on the time of year, I aim to enter the lodge around sunset. The ceremony itself takes around 3 hours, although time does a wriggle in sacred space and seems much shorter.

The Ultimate Journey

	The Ultimate Journey is a shamanic journey that explores and utilizes the natural process of all life - change - and the transformation from one state to another. Healthy transformation can be described as growth and evolution. Death is the ultimate journey of transformation, when we finally let go of everything, surrender, and are reborn into the realms of the spirit. We ask the question: why wait until we die for this experience? This is a shamanic journey whose intent is to undergo, in full consciousness, the seven stages of dying, death, and rebirth into a new world. To do this, we will increase our energy levels to complete our present incarnation honorably and impeccably. When this is done, we will choose the place and time of our death, choreograph our funeral rituals, dig our graves, meet Death, die correctly and enter the Underworld. There we will undergo the definitive journey through the Death realms. When ready, we will consciously enter our new incarnation, and create a new world to live in, which resonates closer to the dreams of our hearts. The Ultimate Journey is a seven day intensive workshop. Each day brings an initiation on the journey. The seven initiations of Transformation are: The initiation of Surrender The Initiation of the Spiritual Warrior The initiation of the Shadow The initiation of Shedding The Initiation of Death, and Rebirth The Initiation of Empowerment The Initiation of the Path with Heart. NOTE: There will be a maximum of 10 (ten) participants. Although an intensive and advanced workshop, it is suited to all applicants who deeply feel they are ready.

Six Month/1 Year Course on Shamanic Healing

	This course is for those searchers who want to change their lives at a fundamental level, and who want to learn the skills to travel the path of their own healing, and consequently of All Beings. Those participating will be expected to commit themselves, and work hard, to set up new attitudes and practices in their lives. Healing does not stop at the end of a course. This is an opportunity to break through the limitations we set ourselves into a world of high energy, unlimited possibility, and freedom. I am particularly interested in spending an extended time with a group, learning to work together in an increasingly deep and intimate way. So far I have facilitated 5 of these year-long courses, and they have been very successful. This course concentrates on completing our former lives well, undergoing a Shamanic Death, then envisioning and creating a new life of increased energy. I experience this course as a magical adventure into the Unknown for a year and a day, with a circle of like-minded, big-hearted people. We will set our Intent, build a magical gateway between worlds, and enter the realms of the shaman healer. We will practice techniques which are designed to generate the energy needed to tackle the Unknown, the place where our healing is found, while allowing the adventure to unfold. It is never what we expect, or the same that has happened before. We will all be taken, together and individually, to the specWe will learn how to work with fear, the energy that compresses and stills our life-force. We will learn how to recognize and work with the allies and helpers that accompany travelers through the healing worlds. We will support and encourage each other on our journeys, while respecting those realms through which people must travel alone. Experiencing both my own unfolding healing journey, and facilitating it for others, is one of my deepest passions. After our intended period journeying through the shamanic realms, we will return, the same yet different, on a more energetic turn of the spiral that governs our lives. This course is designed to fundamentally change your life.

I can start with an evening’s introductory talk if you like, or I can plunge in at any level you wish. Workshops are my passion - sharing and interacting with others with the intent of healing, evolving, and traveling through magical realities with like-minded people bring me alive in the most wonderful ways! In general, I need to be booked a year in advance, although I may have some spare slots in the current year. Fees

	An evening’s talk/slideshow: $300 A day’s workshop for up to 15 people: $600. A weekend workshop for up to 15 people: $1000. Every extra day: $250. My travel expenses should also be added.
